This is a great campaign on some BART trains which are local to the SF Bay Area. The ad is for Tahoe a few hours away and targeted to native or local Bay Area residents whom most have never visited large tourist spots like Alcatraz but have gone skiing or snowboarding in Tahoe.
Argument is: Tahoe is much better than anything like Alcatraz
Other nice things about this:
HOW TO FIND THE YACHT CLUB
There is free parking for club members and guests of the club. Cars are discouraged for staying overnight. St. Francis is a private invite-only club located in the Marina with social and sailing events.
The official address is:
St. Francis Yacht Club
99 Yacht Road, San Francisco, CA 94123
(NOT "Yacht club road")
Most Uber's know how to get there, some UberX know if given the address "99 Yacht Rd" and any Lyfts or Sidecar's or other services that have part time consumer drivers will not know how to get there. Some things to consider:
1) Its hard to find
2) Cell phones are not allowed to be used at the Yacht club so once guests arrive it will be hard to be in reach with them
3) Its actually simple "Drive down Marina blvd after Chrissy fields then make a right"
4) There is a semicircular drive way for drop off.
If you are driving yourself this post above likely is not relevant however the above map of the club's location may be.

This May it will have been seven years since I graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Political Science. Humboldt State was a phenomenal education and experience that I wouldn't change for the world. During my time at HSU I studied Political Science, English and US History. When I wasn't at work at Humboldt Merchant Services (now owned by Moneris Solutions) downloading Verifone Omni 3630's and setting up new gateways for ecommerce accounts, I hiked the hills of campus or raft guided on the seven rivers nearby. Humboldt was good to me and in my opinion one of the most underrated schools on the west coast.
Quickly after graduating my first "real job" was as a Project Manager for 365 Media working on software projects which quickly led me to joining Recognos where I stayed for a while working on two projects: one for a healthcare group quoting tool for Kaiser Permanente and one for Fisher Investments. Every day I wore a suit and worked in the IT department at Fisher Investments which was started by Ken Fisher a fellow Lumberjack. Working at Fisher inspired me that Humboldt State while small and rustic, probably attracted driven people like myself but people who are modest and not quite known. Ken Fisher is worth an estimated $1.8 Billion dollars and yet he's a reasonable and approachable guy. (If you are reading this Ken we need to catch up! See his award page here) Nonetheless it was inspiring to know that success is not determined by where you went to school but your vision and in 2007 while working at Fisher, Ken Fisher was presented with the "Distinguished Alumni Award." If only one day I could be like Ken.
April 19th 2013
This April I will be presented with the same award as Ken Fisher at Humboldt State University which amazes me to think that in six years I accomplished a mere dream (which also is scary, be careful for what you wish for!). Click below for the full story ---->>>
This billboard is one of the worst Ads I've seen in a while, I actually thought of ways it could be worse and got lost for ideas. If it isn't obvious I will spell out why this is probably one of the worst spent marketing dollars to date and here is why:
1) There is no way to follow up with this add other than the QR code (which I'm sure was intentional to force people to use the QR code except not leaving any other options doesn't convert it higher but actually gives no other chance or opportunity to connect with this campaign. How so might you ask?
2) No Branding or Campaign knowledge is given other than a child and AIDS even worse its hardly branded for either
